Professor Brungess joined the Pacific McGeorge faculty in 2002. She is a 1996 graduate of Pacific McGeorge, and managed a family law litigation firm from 1997 to 2003. Professor Brungess was also a staff attorney for Voluntary Legal Services of Northern California (VLSP) from 1999 to 2000, and assisted in the establishment and management of the Self Help Center at the William Ridgeway Family Relations Courthouse in Sacramento. Through VLSP, she also trained new attorneys on family law forms completion and procedures. Professor Brungess has served as a Sacramento County pro tem settlement conference judge at the Family Relations Courthouse, and has been a pro tem small claims court judge at the Carol Miller Justice Center since 2003.
