2014-2015 Strategic Plan
The Pacific McGeorge Alumni Board of Directors is a volunteer group of alumni dedicated to advancing the interests and promoting the welfare of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law by acting as the voice of over 13,000 alumni. The Alumni Board has been in existence since 1965, but in 2013-14, the Board charted a new and focused direction to support the law school as it moves through and adjusts to changes in the legal profession and legal education.
Their 2014-15 goals are dedicated to continuing to move the law school forward and ensuring the success of our students and our alumni. The Board is focused in two areas:
- Developing Active Alumni Chapters. Board members will recruit volunteers in each Chapter, and take the lead in planning annual Chapter activities that help recruit qualified students from new and varied regions; support student professional development and job placement; and provide continuing education and networking opportunities for alumni.
- Energizing Fundraising Efforts. Board members will infuse the law school's fundraising efforts with energy and assist with alumni participation in giving to the law school.
The Board will need your help to ensure their annual goals are met. Watch for communications from the Board and the law school for opportunities to become involved.
