Continuing Legal Education

Every January, the Pacific McGeorge Alumni Association organizes continuing education programs in Sacramento, Southern California and the Bay Area with presentations on legal ethics (four hours), the elimination of bias (one hour), and substance abuse (one hour).

These programs are open to all alumni and to any attorney needing California State Bar CLE. The programs focus on those hard-to-get required continuing education courses.

Pacific McGeorge MCLE Programs

The Pacific McGeorge Alumni Association was proud to host our 2014 Annual MCLE Program in Long Beach, Oakland, Sacramento, and via webcast. Through this annual program, we ensure value to our alumni and the legal community by offering a convenient, affordable way to obtain hard-to-get, required continuing legal education courses. In addition to the available MCLE credits, the program offers practical and current information that is beneficial to attorneys at any stage of practice.

MCLE Credit: These programs have been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of six (6) hours, of which four (4) will apply to legal ethics; one (1) hour will apply to detection/prevention of substance abuse, and one (1) hour will apply to the elimination of bias in the legal profession. Pacific McGeorge School of Law certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved educational activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of The State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education. The Nevada Board of Continuing Legal Education has approved this program for six (6) hours of Continuing Legal Education.
