Profile

Brandon A. Takahashi is Partner and Head of Labor and Employment Law with ADLI Law Group, P.C. in Los Angeles, California. In this capacity, he oversees all employment litigation for his firm, as well as provides advice and counsel on both state and federal employment law issues including employee management, discipline and termination, internal investigations, leave management, proper employee classification, and sexual harassment training. As an experienced litigator, he has handled hundreds of matters in both state and federal court, on behalf of private sector and public entity employers, up through and including trial.

Recently, Brandon was asked to speak on a select panel of attorneys and employer representatives, including the Associate Dean of International Personnel for Mount Sinai Health System and the Corporate Vice President of Employment and Training for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, regarding immigration reform, and co-evolution of employment and immigration laws in the United States.

Brandon was also selected to the Lawyers of Color inaugural "Hot List" in 2013, recognizing the top 100 minority attorneys under the age of 40 from the Western Region of the United States. He was also named a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Brandon received his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from the University of California, Davis in 2001. In 2006, he earned his Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and was named the American Board of Trial Advocates Student Trial Lawyer of the Year. He also served as an Adjunct Professor for the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law Mock Trial and Trial Advocacy Department from 2006 to 2010.
