Summary Bio

Dawn is an attorney with Silicon Valley Group where she engages in a civil litigation practice in the areas of corporate and financial services, property disputes, employment and other general litigation services. Ms. Sweatt has had substantial trial experience in her role as a civil litigator. Prior to joining Silicon Valley Law Group, Ms. Houston was a litigation attorney with Hansen, Culhane, Kohls, Jones & Sommer in Roseville, California. While in law school at McGeorge, Ms. Sweatt was the recipient of a Witkin award for academic excellence, received honors in oral advocacy, elected as a national member of the Order of The Barristers, and admitted to the Traynor Honor Society. Ms. Sweatt was one of only two people selected to participate in a prestigious internship in the Governors Office of Legal Affairs in 2004. She also completed internships at the California State Attorney General's Office and the District Attorney's Office. Dawn earned her undergraduate degree with honors in economics from the California State University, Chico.
