Dorothy Landsberg, an alumna of Pacific McGeorge School of Law, is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and an Associate Professor of Lawyering Skills. Professor Landsberg was appointed Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in July, 2013 after serving as Director of Legal Clinics for four years. Under her Clinical leadership, Pacific McGeorge launched a Federal Defender Clinic and a Criminal Appellate Advocacy Clinic, and created two mediation clinics — a Prisoner Civil Rights Mediation Clinic in cooperation with the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California, and a Housing Mediation Clinic under a grant from the state of California. The law school was awarded the 2013 Ninth Circuit ADR Education Award for these two innovative mediation clinics. Both clinics are noteworthy not only for the services that they offer to the community and the education they provide to our students, but also for the unique public-private partnerships that the clinics' embody. While serving as Associate Dean, Professor Landsberg continues to co-teach in the Prisoner Civil Rights Mediation Clinic.
