International Faculty Scholarship & Impact

McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific is home to a varied group of law professors and scholars with a wide range of international legal experience.  McGeorge is distinctive in having a majority of its faculty engaged in significant teaching and scholarship on international topics. 

Whether the topic is international environmental law, international criminal law, the law of treaties, economic sanctions, international banking, international arbitration, trade and development, international human rights, McGeorge stands out for the unusual breadth of international scholarly expertise among its faculty, with most of our core faculty having published in the areas of international or comparative law.  

Around the world, McGeorge faculty engage in efforts to develop the legal infrastructure and rule of law necessary for all nations to participate in the global economy.
