First Ever Day of Giving — #PacificGives

Update: Thank you to all you helped make our first Day of Giving a success.

We are excited to announce our first ever Day of Giving, #PacificGives. Starting on Nov. 15 at 11:15 a.m., we will launch #PacificGives — a 24-hour (and 1 minute) online challenge, to make an incredible difference in the lives of our students.

The goal is simple: to inspire Tigers everywhere to come together, demonstrate pride for Pacific, and provide essential funding to support Pacific students in Stockton, Sacramento, and San Francisco. To monitor our progress, please visit pacific.edu/PacificGives on Tuesday, Nov. 15 after 11:15 a.m. You can follow on our social media pages to watch the fun unfold.

The McGeorge School of Law is proud to join in this extraordinary effort. Our current funding priorities are:

  • McGeorge Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship. Your gift to the McGeorge Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, by the Powell Match Fund;
  • McGeorge Fund —
    • Academic Program Enrichment — Advancing innovative new and well-established programs that enrich the legal education experience of our students;
    • Student Activities — Supporting students' academic activities, such as attending competitions and smaller student-run activities, such as new student orientation, the Welcome Back BBQ, and Diversity Week; and
    • Other Unfunded Needs — Allowing Dean Mootz to leverage every philanthropic dollar for maximum benefit by allocating funding where it's most needed, when it's most valuable, and how it's most effective.

As always, you can also choose a priority that is most meaningful to you. Just click on the "Give Now button" on the Day of Giving site to make your gift.

Together – in just one day – our community can help strengthen Pacific by supporting the university’s ability to provide the best possible experiences for Pacific’s current and future students.
