Professor Clark Kelso has worked closely with all three branches of the California state government to improve and reform the administration of justice. In the past decade he has served as the Acting Insurance Commissioner for California, the state’s Chief Information Officer, and as the federal receiver overseeing health care for California’s prisons. He is also a scholar of the judicial process, publishing important pieces that have been well-received by members of the academy, as well as the bench and bar.
