Profile

Kim Garner is Of Counsel with Cornerstone Estate Law Corporation in Sacramento, California. She has a background in a wide array of litigation matters and now specializes in trust and probate litigation, in addition to estate planning. She was selected as a Rising Star in litigation by Super Lawyers magazine for 2015 and 2016. Prior to joining Cornerstone Estate Law Corporation, Kim's civil litigation practice included medical malpractice defense and public entity defense in both state and federal courts.

During her time at McGeorge, Kim was president of Women’s Caucus and the third year representative for the Student Bar Association. At graduation, she received the award for Outstanding Student Service. She is the current Vice President of the Alumni Association Board and is also Treasurer for Women Lawyers of Sacramento. She chaired the Women Lawyers of Sacramento's annual fundraiser and raised over $20,000.00 for the Women Lawyers of Sacramento Foundation. Kim earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
