Beesley Bar Boss In Nevada

Bruce Beesley, ’78, was installed as president on the State Bar of Nevada at the organization’s 80 th annual meeting on June 20 in Santa Barbara.
A partner at the Reno office of Lewis Roca LLP, Beesley is a former president of the Washoe County Bar Association and has been a member of the state bar’s board of governors since 2000. A civil and commercial litigation attorney, he is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Inns of Court.
Beesley is the third Pacific McGeorge alumnus to serve as president of the Nevada bar. Judge Andrew Puccinelli, ’78, served as president for the 1998-99 term and Las Vegas attorney Vince Consul, ’80, led the organization for the 2005-06 term.
