Free MCLE Rolls On In January

More than 570 attorneys attended the Pacific McGeorge Alumni Association’s 12th Annual MCLE Program on January 27 on campus.
Members of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court made a two-hour presentation on ethics. Geralynn Patellaro,’93, spoke on “Diabilities in the Workplace” while Wendy Slavkin,’79, and David Demergian lectured on “Alcoholics and Addicts among Us.” Adjunct processor Robert Hawley talked about the “Top 10 Professional Responsibility Traps for the Unwary,” and Professor Fred Galves, David Boyd,’76, and Joe Ramsey spoke on “Technical, Prodedural and Ethical Issues in E-Discovery.” A week earlier in Long Beach, 80 attorneys attended the alumni group’s 6th Annual Southern California MCLE Program. Professor John Sprankling lectured on “Ethical Dilemmas for the Transactional Attorney.” Martha Roof and the Honorable Edward J. Wallin were among the other presenters there along with Patellaro and the Galves team.
