GLS II Final Four Top Oral Advocate Award to Farro

Second-year student Sheena Farro won the Top Oral Advocate Award at the McGeorge Global Lawyering Skills (GLS) Final Four competition on April 8, 2015.

Associate Justice Andrea Lynn Hoch, '84, California Third District Court of Appeal; Sacramento Magistrate Judge Ken Newman, United States District Court for the Eastern District of California; and Chief Magistrate Judge Dale Drozd, United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, presided over the program.

The three finalists who joined Farro in the last round were Jenifer Gee, Karly McCrory, and Chris Maloney. Best Brief Awards were conferred upon Breanna Williams, Virginia Martucci, Karly McCrory, and Michael Shepherd.

Professor Mary-Beth Moylan is the director of the GLS II program. Thad Blizzard, Adrienne Brungess, Hether Macfarlane, Maureen Moran,  Jeff Proske and Ric Schickele comprise the GLS faculty. Staff member Annette Bethea serves as the GLS assistant.
