Law Review Symposium Explored Human Right to Water

The symposium, "The Human Right to Water: Turning Principles into Action," brought together academics, practitioners, and agencies to explore the ways in which the human right to water can be implemented in California, the U.S., and across the world. McGeorge Distinguished Professor of Law and 2017 Stockholm Water Prize Laureate Stephen McCaffrey gave opening and closing remarks. McCaffrey was announced as the Carol Olson Endowed Professor of International Law by McGeorge Dean Michael Hunter Schwartz at the beginning of the symposium.

Dr. Peter Gleick, President Emeritus of Pacific Institute and a MacArthur Fellow, delivered the luncheon keynote address.  See more
