The Public Legal Services Society (PLSS) at McGeorge School of Law honored members of the McGeorge community for public service at a celebratory reception on Friday, April 6, 2018 on campus.  The alumni honorees were Mike Belote '87 (PLSS Patron) and Kim Delfino '93 (PLSS Founder). Professor John Sims and third-year student My Tien Doan were also recognized at the PLSS reception. Photos from the event are here.

Because of the PLSS Grant Program, McGeorge law students have been able to provide legal assistance to children, victims of domestic violence and sexual violence, immigrants, farm laborers, low-income tenants, and the state and federal court systems. Students have also secured positions to serve in areas of public defender, water resources, elder care, and district attorney offices.
