The McGeorge Moot Court team will enter 10 competitions this year, five in the fall semester and five more in the spring. Thirty-two students, many of them third-year members of the Moot Court Honors Board, comprise the team chosen by Professor Ed Telfeyan, the director of the law school's moot court program. Chelsea Tibbs chairs the board that coordinates team activities with Nick Kump and Sarah Schumacher serving as vice chairs.

The highlight of the fall campaign will be the Western Regional of the 22nd Annual Thomas Tang Moot Court, which McGeorge will host on October 24-25, 2014, in Sacramento. It is one of six regionals being held across the country in October. Winners and wild-card teams will advance to the national championship of the tournament, which is scheduled November 5-9, 2014, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
