Nader Will Speak at Ethics Event

Ralph Nader speaks on professional ethics and corporate responsibility at the 2nd Annual Ethics Across the Professions Symposium this month. A daylong series of panel presentations, the symposium features academics and practitioners from a wide array of professions, including law, medicine, journalism and business.
Nader, who ran for the U.S. presidency as recently as 2000, has served as a de facto 'corporate conscience' for nearly fifty years. His capstone presentation in the McGeorge Lecture Hall on Thursday, September 20th at 5 p.m. is free with advance reservations. RSVP to 916-739-7171. Please note: doors close promptly at 4:50 p.m.
Papers presented at this year's symposium, which focuses on the relationship between professional ethics and corporate conduct, will be published in the McGeorge Law Review. Students who attend the symposium will receive free tickets to Ralph Nader's lecture.
