Sixty-eight Pacific McGeorge graduates passed the February 2012 State Bar of California examination and many of them were sworn in on June 7, 2012, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento.

The Pacific McGeorge Alumni Office sponsors swearing-in parties each December (for the July exam barpassers) and June (for the February exam barpassers). Three California Court of Appeals justices, Kathleen Butz, Elena Duarte and Andrea Hoch, '84, and Sacramento County Bar Association President June Coleman, '97, were on hand to greet and congratulate the new attorneys.

Pacific McGeorge offers a flexible Evening Division program that allows its students the option to graduate in three-and-a-half years. Thirty-eight students received their juris doctorate degrees in December 2011. Several members of the May 2011 graduating class were also taking the exam for the first time.
