Thirty-two Class of 2008 graduates were inducted into the Pacific McGeorge Chapter of the Order of the Coif on May 9 at a luncheon honoring the law school’s top students.

The Order of the Coif is an honorary scholastic society whose purpose is to encourage excellence in legal education by fostering a spirit of careful study, recognizing those who as law students attained a high grade of scholarship, and honoring those who as lawyers, judges and teachers attained high distinction for their scholarly or professional accomplishments. This year’s graduates who finished in the top 10 percent of the class were elected to the order.

Chapter president Thom Main and chapter secretary-treasurer Clark Kelso presided over the affair, which featured Professor Phil Wile as the main speaker. More than 50 alumni and faculty members of the chapter were in attendance.
