Five students were honored as scholarship recipients at the Sacramento Estate Planning Council's 19th Annual Technical Forum on Jan. 24 in the Lecture Hall.

Keith Banks, 3D, Brandt Butko, 3D, Michael Ghanadian, 3D, Sean Mick, 4E, Sarah Olson, 4E joined adjunct professor Gina Lera, '95, for the presentation by the organization that has awarded 80 scholarships totaling $238,012 since its endowment was established in 1991.

Lera, a partner at Downey Brand who teaches the Estate and Gift Tax/Estate Planning course, is a member of the SEPC board of directors. The group, whose membership includes many other alumni, has been meeting on campus for 39 years. A portion of the proceeds from its annual event benefit the council's endowed scholarship fund at Pacific McGeorge.
