Yury Kolesnikov, ’09, and Preston Morgan, ’09, have landed 2010 clerkships with the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Kolesnikov will clerk for Judge David R. Thompson in San Diego while Morgan will work in the chambers of Judge Procter Hug Jr. in Reno, Nevada. Kolesnikov currently clerks for Judge Irma E. Gonzalez, the chief judge of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. Morgan is clerking for Magistrate Judge Valarie Cook in Nevada this year.

The two Pacific McGeorge graduates will join Conor Flynn, ’08, in the chambers of Ninth Circuit judges. Flynn recently began a clerkship with Judge Johnnie B. Rawlinson, ’79, in Las Vegas after clerked for Magistrate Judge Peter H. Carroll, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California.

Pacific McGeorge has nearly 20 other recent graduates serving judicial clerkships at the federal and state level in California, Nevada, Alaska, North Carolina and Alabama.
