In Session, a new podcast series from McGeorge School of Law's University of the Pacific Law Review, launched on Sept. 7, 2017. In each podcast episode Chief Legislation Editor Tyler Wood interviews staff writers for the Greensheets issue of UPLR, which is the issue that reviews recently proposed and enacted legislation in both the California and Nevada State legislatures.

In the first episode, "SB 258 Cleaning Products Labeling," Libby Grotewohl discusses her research about the legislation. Nolan Kessler is interviewed in the second episode, "AB 954 Food Labeling," which was released on Sept. 14. Both of these bills have advanced through the California Assembly and Senate and are currently on Gov. Jerry Brown's desk to sign.

"This podcast is an extension of the Greensheets," said Wood. "We will explore, among other things, what prompted the bill, the competing arguments for and against the bill, and whether the bill will accomplish what it is supposed to."
