    McGeorge School of Law culminated its 94th academic year at the law school graduation on May 19. Justice James W. Hardesty '75, Supreme Court of Nevada, gave the commencement address.     McGeorge Professor McCaffrey to Receive Distinguished Elisabeth Haub Award

    McGeorge Distinguished Professor of Law Stephen McCaffrey has been announced as the 2018 recipient of the Distinguished Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy, for his life-time of service in the development of international environmental law.     My Tien Doan, a Class of 2018 graduate at University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law, discovered her purpose through anger and frustration—with discrimination, inequality, stereotypes and her inability as a young child to help her immigrant parents.     Alumnus Justice James W. Hardesty '75 of the Supreme Court of Nevada will deliver the 2018 commencement address at the graduation ceremony of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. The ceremony honoring 186 graduates will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 19, at Sacramento's Memorial Auditorium. more >

    Second-year student Stacie Jackson won the Top Oral Advocate Award at the McGeorge Global Lawyering Skills (GLS) II Final Four competition on April 12, 2018. Finalist awards were given to Cassandra Ninke, Dylan de Wit, and David Witkin. Best brief awards were conferred upon Jessica Gandara, Jessica Johnson, Megan McCauley, and Nicholas Pancharian. more >
