Experiential Learning

There is no substitute for the real-world knowledge gained through experiential learning. We offer a variety of ways to put classroom theory into practice to prepare you for a successful legal career.

McGeorge's innovative experiential curriculum emphasizes hands-on, active learning. Our students are placed in the role of an attorney under careful supervision in one of our pioneering legal clinics or intensive field placements. Because of our location in California’s capital city, we offer numerous exciting state government field placements. Our students develop professional lawyering skills and become reflective practitioners and lifelong learners. Our talented faculty and network of experienced adjunct professor practitioners teach a distinctive array of simulation and practicum courses through our Experiential Curriculum.
