Judicial Externship Field Placement | Course 956

In the three (3)-unit, pass/fail externship, students will perform on-site legal work under the supervision of court research attorneys, Family Law Facilitator/Self-Help Office Attorneys within the court, Collaborative Court Attorneys, or individual judges in various local California Superior Courts, and other designated courts as approved by the Field Placement Director. Students interested in half-time and full-time judicial externships see Semester in Practice — Course 961 for details. Placement site and practice descriptions are set for in Directory of Field Placements via the links below, or in the Field Placement Program Office. The Field Placement Director will help students find an appropriate placement, and must approve each student’s registration. (P/F)
