Description

BALRA is pleased to offer 1L law students with diverse backgrounds the opportunity to join attorneys from BALRA law firm members for an evening of networking. In inviting diverse students, BALRA is seeking those who contribute to the diversity of the legal profession, e.g., racial, religious, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or socio-economic. Last year, over 50 attorneys and 50 law students participated in this event, and they hope that once again, this BALRA-sponsored program will serve as a foundation for developing professional relationships between law students and attorneys in the Bay Area legal community.

The evening will begin with a 60-minute networking program followed by a reception. During the speed networking portion, participants will engage in six one-on-one conversations, each lasting 10 minutes. Suggested topics of discussion will be provided to the participants to assist the flow of conversation. Attorneys and law students may continue networking informally during the reception.

Interested 1E/1D/2E students need to RSVP to Dru Hester (dhester@pacific.edu) no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9.
